An Hour Well Spent
So I stood next to the Jesus freaks on Bourbon while holding a sign that said, “Jesus Loves You Even If They Don’t” with an arrow pointing to the JFreaks. It was pretty awesome. A few people stopped to take photos with me. Some just stopped to tell me they appreciated what I was doing. The Jesus Freaks asked if I knew Jesus. I said I knew him very well just like I know the...

Do You Remember
When you were a little kid and you’d be so excited to go to DisneyWorld, you’d get dressed and all ready and sleep in your clothes so that the moment you woke up, you’d be able to just leave and be in DisneyWorld?
I am at that level of excitement right now.

A Quick Update
I leave in two days for New Orleans. I can’t wait to just hang out with all my friends again and get schnockered for Mardi Gras. The only thing I’m tired of is being asked whether I’m excited for beads. Seriously? I guess that’s the only thing people know about New Orleans. Pity.
I’m planning when I’ll make my visit to Chicago for mid- to late March. ...

But Saturday I’m going to go see Sunset Boulevard at the Redford Theatre and probably try to squeeze in a barhop because I think that’s when a friend is celebrating his birthday.
40 Million Women Scorned
“Pepsi Max offered up that while guys do helpful things like killing bugs and moving stuff, the rest of the time they can be charmingly stupid in a slapstick kind of way that we found so loveable before we married them.
While we completely connected with the realistic depiction of women in the one CareerBuilder ad (screaming in vain at her futile career options), we were not captivated by...
Nina Simone - “I’m Feeling Good”
It’s a new day.
It’s a new dawn.
It’s a new life for me.
And I’m feeling GOOD.
Gadling Travel Blog Praises Detroit!
I love reading articles like this. There is so much fantastic and amazing stuff to do in Detroit that people just don’t want to realize and are always shocked to find that there is always something to do and the people are always willing to help you or at least say, “Hello.”
But the Motor City, the land of the Model T, Motown and Madonna (and other famous musicians too...

Italy bans kebabs and foreign food from cities - Times Online
Filippo Candelise, a Lucca councillor, said: “To accuse us of racism is outrageous. All we are doing is protecting the culinary patrimony of the town.”
Massimo Di Grazia, the city spokesman, said that the ban was intended to improve the image of the city and to protect Tuscan products. “It targets McDonald’s as much as kebab...
